At around 01:35hrs Caroline dispatched Sta 200, Talbot Sta 60, and Talbot Sta 50 for and Odor of electrical burning in a residence. C-2(Milligan) responded shortly after dispatch. Caroline then advised him that the homeowner could smell electrical burning but didn't see any smoke or flames. C-2 AOL with smoke coming from the eaves and est. "Hog Creek Rd" command. Command then advised he had heavy fire coming from the first and second floors of the charlie side of the home. E204 AOL and quickly pulled 2 lines and placed them in service for an exterior attack till more manpower arrived for interior operations. Command requested a 2nd alarm which brought Sta 100 and Dorchester Sta 6. 217 (T.Plutschak) had operations and 602 (J. McNeal) had the water supply. Command had Brush 66 set a draft site for water supply to the scene at a local farmers pond. Crews spent 4 hours knocking and doing overhaul to the home. The fire is being investigated by the Maryland State Fire Marshall's office.
