After over a year and a half of going to shows and meeting with truck builders the Preston Vol. Fire Co. has signed a contract with Ferrara Fire in Holden, LA to purchase a new Engine/Tanker. The new Engine/Tanker will be a Ferrara Igniter XD LFD Custom Chassis, with a Cummins ISM-500hp Engine, 1,500 gpm Hale Pump, 2,800 gallon water tank. The new Engine/Tanker is expected to be delivered sometime in the Spring. We will keep you updated on the delivery date and have pictures posted of the truck in the building process. The new Engine/Tanker will better serve the community and the surrounding areas.
